Service Solutions
Three Pathways.
One Standard of Care.
Whether your watch requires a precise calibre service, a crystal and seal renewal, or a full restoration programme, the process is structured to be thorough, transparent, and appropriate to the piece.

How Every Service Begins
Before any work commences, each watch received at the workshop undergoes a written intake examination. This note records the observed condition — case, crystal, crown, movement audibility, water resistance integrity — and any observations provided by the owner. It establishes an honest baseline and informs the scope of the service recommendation.
The cost and timeline for agreed work is confirmed in writing before we proceed. If the condition of the movement reveals additional requirements during service, we contact the owner before continuing. Nothing is added to the scope without your knowledge.

Service One
Mechanical Calibre Care
A complete service pathway for in-house and ébauche-based mechanical movements. Each watch is received with a written intake examination noting current state, water resistance integrity, and any owner-reported observations. The movement is fully disassembled, with each component individually cleaned in a multi-stage ultrasonic process, inspected under high magnification for wear or fatigue, and reassembled with precise lubrication on the relevant pivot points and friction surfaces.
Mainsprings are evaluated and replaced when their characteristics fall outside the manufacturer's tolerance band. After reassembly, the watch is regulated across five or six positions on a Witschi timing apparatus and tested for amplitude, beat error, and rate stability over several days.
Included in this service:
- Full movement disassembly and multi-stage ultrasonic cleaning
- High-magnification wear and fatigue inspection
- Precise lubrication at all relevant points
- Mainspring evaluation (replacement if outside tolerance)
- Witschi regulation — rate, amplitude, beat error testing
- Multi-day rate stability observation before return
Service Two
Crystal Replacement & Sealing Service
A focused service addressing damaged sapphire, mineral, or acrylic crystals along with the gasket system that protects the movement from moisture. The work begins with case opening, careful removal of the existing crystal, and inspection of the bezel or case opening for distortion. A correctly specified replacement crystal is fitted — sapphire for most modern luxury references, with acrylic preserved on vintage pieces where originality is preferred.
All gaskets in the case back, crown, pushers, and crystal seat are replaced as part of the service, followed by dry pressure testing and wet pressure testing where appropriate. A written test result accompanies the returned watch. Owners with diving or sport references benefit from this service every two to three years.
Included in this service:
- Crystal removal and case opening inspection
- Specified crystal replacement (sapphire, mineral, or acrylic)
- Full gasket renewal — case back, crown, pushers, crystal seat
- Dry and wet pressure testing
- Written pressure test result provided on return
Service Three
Comprehensive Restoration Programme
A multi-stage programme for watches requiring attention beyond a routine service — pieces that have been stored for many years, suffered impact damage, or arrived from a previous custodian without service history. The programme combines full movement overhaul, case and bracelet refinishing, crystal and gasket replacement, dial inspection, and where appropriate, conservation work on hands and applied indices.
The owner is consulted at each major decision point, particularly where conservation versus refinishing involves a value judgement. A photographic record is kept throughout the work and shared upon completion. Timelines typically run from eight to fourteen weeks depending on parts availability and depth of intervention required.
Included in this programme:
- Full movement overhaul (as per Mechanical Calibre Care)
- Case and bracelet assessment — refinishing or conservation
- Crystal and gasket replacement
- Dial inspection and hand conservation
- Owner consultation at each decision point
- Photographic record throughout, shared on completion

Shared Across All Services
Your Watch in Secure Custody
All watches in our workshop are held with full professional care. Each piece is tagged, stored securely, and accounted for throughout its time with us.
Performance Measured, Not Estimated
Regulated movements are tested on a Witschi timing apparatus. Amplitude, beat error, and rate are measured across positions, not assessed by feel.
Direct Communication
Questions about a watch in service are answered by the person responsible for it, not a reception layer. We keep communication direct and informative.
Appropriate Lubricants Only
We use lubricants appropriate to the specific component — not a single all-purpose oil. The correct viscosity and formulation for each friction surface is observed.
Nothing Proceeds Without Agreement
If unexpected findings require a change in scope or cost, we contact you before continuing. The final scope is always what you approved.
Pressure Testing Where Applicable
Seal work is followed by dry and wet pressure testing appropriate to the watch's stated rating. A written result is provided with every seal service.
